Data Management Solutions was founded by Mathew Aspey-Maluk, an NHS-based Data Manager and Information Analyst Specialist with experience supporting clinical research, research governance, REDCap administration, business intelligence and research reporting.

The idea behind Data Management Solutions came from a simple observation: good research depends on good data, but not every research team has access to dedicated data management expertise.

For smaller research teams, academic researchers, start-ups and organisations developing their research capability, employing a dedicated Data Manager may not always be practical. However, many of the same data management decisions still need to be made.
